KRCA maintains an excellent rural flying site in the Keizer / Mt. Angel / Silverton area.
Our current flying field has an irrigated and maintained grass landing area with the runway oriented approximately north/south. The landing area is 380ft x 60ft with an inset fabric runway 125ft x 25ft in front of the pit area. In 2023, we plan to replace our current fabric runway with Geotex and extend the size to 300ftx30ft.
We also have a fully enclosed clubhouse area inside the adjacent barn, providing a sheltered and clean place to get out of the weather. We currently have lights, propane heaters, a minifridge with water and sodas, a microwave, and a charging bench with 110V power.
