2024 Membership Renewal

2024 is almost upon us and it’s time to renew your club membership!

As a reminder, club dues paid after November 1st 2023 are applied to 2024. Club dues and an updated membership form are due on January 1st. Please download the 2024 form, fill it out, and mail it to the address on the form.

Members who have not paid their 2024 dues will have their flying privileges suspended effective April 1st, 2024.

Club membership cards will be a little different this year, made at the field on-request at events or club meetings.

Remembering Bob Bevens

Bob Bevens, a long-time pillar of the Keizer RC Association and many other local groups, passed away from heart related issues on December 11th, 2021. Bob was one of the early members in the KRCA, our long-time treasurer, and instrumental in many of the improvements and successes the club has enjoyed over the years.

Bob was the reason our current flying field is available to us and he was the driving force behind much of its development. He was also our contest organizer and a calm voice of wisdom for many of us. We will miss his smile and good humor.

Tailwinds and blue skies, Bob.

Holden / Bevens Field is open!

We are still here! Holden / Bevens Field is open and ready to fly from. We formally dedicated the field on July 4th, 2021 and are ready to welcome visitors.

The runway grass is regularly mowed, the runway matting is in place and has smoothed out over the summer, the pit area matting is in place, and the location is beautiful! We have an enclosed clubhouse area with 110V power for charging at the field, lights in the clubhouse for night flying, propane heaters for those cold days, a stocked fridge and microwave for hot and cold snacks & drinks while you’re at the field.

Come check it out! The address is 6640 Mt. Angel Highway NE, or use this link to google maps. Look for our new sign at the entrance, courtesy of Jerry Hall.

Verl Holden and Bob Bevens, the men responsible for the new home of the Keizer RC Association. Our deepest thanks to both of these gentlemen!
