The Academy of Model Aeronautics is the Community-Based Organization for the recreational model aircraft hobby. AMA membership is required to fly at most organized R/C flying sites (including the Keizer R/C Association sites), and provides a monthly magazine, liability insurance, political representation, and a sanctioning body for model aircraft competition.
