Blanco is unique because it is an AMA sanctioned glider field with an associated AMA club, the Southern Oregon Slopeiens. Club membership is required to fly, but it’s only $10 per year and usually purchased at the event. T-shirts and hats are usually available, dinner is available to purchase on the last Saturday night and there is a raffle after dinner.

We usually all camp in the Group Camping sites but those are closed for 20201 and most spaces are reserved for the duration of the event. It may be possible to shift between sites or double up on some sites reserved by other slopers, or hotels and other camp accommodations can be found nearby.
